Networking
SOLWODI Berlin e. V. is networked locally, nationally and internationally (see annual report). Regular exchange takes also place with church representatives and NGOs in the clients’ respective countries of origin.
Public Relations
The counselling centre staff participate in both regional and international conferences, round tables and expert panel discussions. They give talks and offer training for employees and volunteers as well as pupils and students on and students on the following topics: Human trafficking, female refugees, the cause of flight and situations of women in African countries of origin, trauma among women refugees, victim support, intercultural and interreligious coexistence.
Training for staff in refugee shelters/facilities on the identification of trafficked persons
Where: In the facilities themselves or in the SOLWODI counseling center.
Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours according to participants’ needs.
Dates for the training can be arranged flexibly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (9-15).

As part of the Berlin Senate’s master plan “Integration and Security”, SOLWODI Berlin offers training on the topic of human trafficking in refugee shelters and other refugee assistance facilities.
The staff of the facilities receive theoretically sound and practical information on the indicators of human trafficking. In addition, they are taught skills in dealing with particularly vulnerable trafficked persons. After the input, there will be time for a joint exchange of experiences and clarification of case studies.
